Some of the world's greatest museums are situated on your doorstep when you stay at The Rockwell, Kensington.

The Natural History Museum
The collection is housed in a spectacular Victorian building, described as a 'cathedral of science', the museum is a London institution. It features a huge Diplodocus, and exhibits that include Mammals, Reptiles and Fish, marine invertebrates and insects. Admission to the Natural History Museum is free.

The Victoria and Albert Museum
The V&A has more than four million exhibits, across four floors and 145 galleries. The Victoria and Albert Museum is home to art spanning the last two thousand years of history and the galleries are laid out according to genre, time period and artist. The glass roofed buildings still remain today as some of the best examples of Victorian architecture London. Admission to the V&A is free.

The Science Museum
This holds a collection of over 300,000 items, including such famous items as Stephenson's Rocket, the first jet engine. It also contains hundreds of interactive exhibits. A recent addition is the IMAX Theatre showing science and nature documentaries, some of them in 3-D. Admission is free to the Science Museum.
